ABOUT ME

I am loving and caring
I wonder why there is hatred among people
I hear the swaying of the trees
I see the mist covering the mountains
I want to stop suffering in the world
I am loving and caring

I pretend to be traditional, at times
I feel responsible for my family
I touch their lives in many ways
I worry about their health
I cry when they are dismayed
I am loving and caring

I understand that change is inevitable
I say I will live in the moment
I dream about a colourful tomorrow
I try to invent a time machine
I hope to set a bring future in it
I am loving and caring.

A riddle

We’re always on the move, a sister and brother
One faster than the other
Both of us, on the lap of our mother
Always we are, very sincere.
A cuckoo calls every hour
Whatever may be the weather
Only twice a day we gather
Otherwise, we don’t come together
Quite often, people give us a peer
But, never do they dare to jeer
‘Cause forever we are on, without fear
Even when life changes its gear!!

GUESS WHO WE ARE?

What does poetry mean to me?

Poetry is a bundle of joy,
I enjoy it just as how a child, its toy.

If the poet is in glee,
I see the cheer in me.

But poetry gives me a flu,
If the poet sounded blue.

Poetry is like the beautiful flowers
I see their spontaneous colours.

Poetry is like a gentle breeze
At times, it gives me a brain-freeze.

Poetry is the dew drops on green grass
Or the marvellous mermaid statue in brass.

Until the moment of my death,
Come what may, Poetry is my breath!!
