As I strolled the streets,

the passers-by smiled at me.

Those I met

are passionate about their vocation.

This is not a conservative city,

but an inclusive society.

They are eco-friendly,

they minimise plastic

and recycle waste.

They’ve converted a barren land

into a woodland.

They eat in a community kitchen

that's solar powered.

If there’s a place I want to be in

other than where I’m right now,

it’s none, but AUROVILLE!
