Jhorpokri

This is Jhorpokri. On the way to Jhorpokri, a 2 hour drive from Darjeeling, we could hardly see a few feet ahead of us, such was the fog! But, our driver could manoeuvre well along the hairpin bends and steep curves just by instinct. We were initially paranoid, but got used to it after a while! There was a picturesque pond in Jhorpokri with a flock of geese which we fed with puffed rice. The place was stunningly beautiful and extremely cold! We adored the location.
