Smelling a concoction of liveliness, mischief and love in the air, the house of Akashmalli continues to throb with the energy of the bunch of kids that she nurtures! Be it sliding on the handrail of the staircase or sitting in a corner of the corridor dug deep into a story book, our children love to be in the house anytime. Akashmalli is known for many things – the most famous being the APL or the Akashmalli Premier League which is the intra-house cricket tournament. The fun we had during the nail-biting finals is unforgettable... not to mention the captains’ tension that soared high! Demonstrating their musical and dramatic talents, the children have conducted many cultural nights in the house which brought out the budding artists in them.

We have a bunch of chefs who have always loved to cook noodles, dosas and chapattis in the house. There are many things that come to the mind when we think of the house, the most notable being the game of Secret Santa which culminated on the day of Christmas. The love with which the children packaged the gifts for their buddies was too good to see.

We have sweet singers, passionate pianists and dainty dramatists

-  the ardent artists of Akashmalli.

Call them clamorous cyclists or combative cricketers

Not to mention the audacious athletes of Akashmalli.

Some are steadfast scientists while a few are mad mathematicians

Most of ‘em are earnest environmentalists

while some call themselves natural naturalists

There are gifted gardeners and avid architects too
